This coffee is from Yamaranguila, a high-altitude village in the Intibucá region of Honduras. It is grown by the Lenca people, who have a strong bond with the land and a long tradition of agriculture. The coffee is grown by a cooperative of farmers who deliver their coffee to the Blanca Fior Washing Station, where it is washed and dried. The coffee is shade-grown on volcanic soil and has a mix of Pacas, Caturra, and Catuai varieties. The coffee is processed with respect for the environment, using compost and water-saving techniques.
